Amidst the lethal second wave of Covid, another fatal tragedy occurred in Agra, leading us to believe that there is no respect for human life. In a country where thousands of lives are lost everyday due to the deadly virus, 22 individuals died as a direct result of negligence and a lack of adequate planning, which can be called a “cold-blooded murder”.<\/p>\n
Agra’s Paras Hospital was sealed following the reported death of 22 patients allegedly due to shortage of oxygen. The matter highlighting the hospital’s lapse came to light after a video to this effect surfaced.<\/p>\n
The purported video shows a Doctor wherein he is heard admitting that 22 people died after the oxygen was shut off for 5 minutes during a mock drill.<\/p>\n
After transferring all 55 patients to another hospital, the sealing procedure began. The hospital was additionally charged with a felony under the Epidemic Diseases Act.<\/p>\n
The voice in the video is alleged to be of Dr. Jain.He is clearly heard saying, \u201c22 patients turned blue after turning off the oxygen for 5 minutes, at that time 97 patients were admitted in Paras Hospital.\u201d Dr. Arinjay Jain, although tried to put up a volt face claiming innocence, he and hospital got exposed leading to public outrage.<\/p>\n
Whether the allegations are proven to be true or not, the Yogi administration must have the event thoroughly investigated to see if the allegations are true or not. But, unfortunately, the District Magistrate was quick to give a clean chit to the hospital, probably under the influence of power and money. People won’t forget; they won’t forgive either. It’s a moment for shame for Yogi Adityanath\u00a0 and his government that always tried to promote the so-called UP Model of Governance.<\/p>\n
Every life counts. But, when you deliberately put the lives of patients at risk for your sadistic pleasure, then something is terribly wrong with the Hospital, Officials and all those involved in this crime.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the Uttar Pradesh CM which was shielding and protecting the hospital and its owner despite their dubious past, is to be the blamed the most. He is turning out to be killer now. Earlier, he used to kill people vial communal riots. Now, he is killing the poor, innocent Covid Patients. And, he claims to be the devotee of Lord Rama!!!
