The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Government in Odisha under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, has been working towards the welfare of 4.5 crore Odias without any bias. This is the reason why people of Odisha have reposed trust in him for the last 21 years and it continues unabated.

The implementation of PM Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Odisha has been the best in the country if we compare with other States. Time and again, it has been acknowledged by various departments at the Centre. Unfortunately, instead of extending support, the Odisha BJP has been trying to sabotage the cause by spreading lies, rumour and misinformation with the objective of misleading the public as well as the Centre.

However, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development has given a big thumbs up to the ‘Odisha Model’ of PMAY implementation. While praising the Odisha Government for making remarkable progress on this segment, the Committee has recommended the Rural Development Ministry to direct other States to follow the ‘Odisha Model’. It’s a huge endorsement for the entire state.

The Odisha BJP must introspect, acknowledge the efforts of the Odisha Government and extend full support so that no one is deprived of the benefits. They should stop playing dirty politics on this issue, which may put the entire PMAY project in jeopardy in Odisha.
