Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, will you adopt BSKY?

Respected Dharmendra Pradhan (Muku Bhai), for a long time, you and your team (divided) tried to make people of Odisha believe that Ayushman Bharat is a better health initiative than Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, but in vain. People of Odisha never trusted you as they know the reality. Instead, they give a big thumbs up to our beloved CM Shri Naveen Patnaik on each and every iniaitive because of the trust factor.

Coming to Ayushman Bharat vs Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, there is hardly any comparison. The central scheme covered only 60 lakh families across the country while BSKY alone covers 96 lakh families in Odisha. The outreach of Ayushman Bharat is very low. It’s high time you adopt Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) at the national level to give benefits to more people who have voted for BJP with high hopes, but got nothing in return.

Naveen Patnaik BSKY Smart Health Card MalkangiriWhen it comes to health coverage, Ayushman Bharat offers only Rs 5 lakh health insurance at all hospitals, including the Government ones. However, there is no limit under BSKY at the government hospitals.

The most important aspect of BSKY Smart Health Card is up to Rs 10 lakh per annum health benefits for women at private hospitals and up to Rs 5 lakh for others. Special benefits for women (Maa) are missing in all other health schemes including the Ayushman Bharat. Ayushman Bharat does not include Apollo, Fertis etc. But, BSKY includes all top hospitals including these.

As our Bobby Bhai (Hon’ble MLA Shri Pranab Prakash Das) said, Ayushman Bharat is just an Insurance, but our #BSKY is an Assurance for complete healthcare. It covers 3.5 crore people of Odisha. And, it covers all needy and poor. You had adopted our schemes ‘Mamata’ and ‘Kalia’. We won’t mind if you adopt and implement ‘BSKY’ too. We know your central government follows the Odisha Model of Governance. That makes our state proud. And, hopefully as an Odia, you will also feel proud and continue to appreciate our governance model.
