Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, who is pursuing Chief Ministerial ambitions and fighting for survival within her own party with the help of another “rejected material” Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda, has been continuously flouting the Covid guidelines and was even fined earlier. Her Bhubaneswar office was sealed due to Covid related offense. But, she refused to learn from her mistakes.

While the entire state is worried about Covid 3rd wave and its impact on our children, Aparajita Sarangi, a mother herself, has put the lives of several kids at risk, by exposing them to danger, as they were seen at her programme without masks or social distancing.

Aparajita never had remorse or regret. This arrogant leader behaves like a dictator. When confronted, she puts up a volt face, shows defiant and tries to hide behind others’ fault. Yet, she seeks to project herself as a leader.

It’s outrageous to see her flouting the Covid guidelines, having young children at her meetings without masks or social distancing guidelines and then proudly posting those photos on her social media handles. While our Kids are exposed to Covid risk, Aparajita smiles and derives sadistic pleasure from this.

Surprisingly, despite a series of complaints, neither the central leadership nor the state leadership tries to rein in rampaging Aparajita, who loves to breach the rules and put others at risk. Even the BJP sympathisers have started being dismissive of her outrageous behaviour despite being a public representative.

If we have a Covid Super Spreader in Odisha, that’s Aparajita Sarangi beyond doubt.
